How to Get Involved
Who Are We
The HK Global Goals Council (GGC) is a student council with chapters established in different schools (originating from CDNIS) dedicated to advocating for and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering a culture of sustainability, social responsibility, and global citizenship among students in a collaborative effort.
Our Initiatives
HK SDG Summit
- The largest youth-led sustainability Event that attracts over 300 participants from three regions.- It emphasizes collective effort from NGOs, charities, governments, and youth.- With our Documentary, you can get a closer look at the summit's impact.
Club-A-Like
- An annual networking event that brings together SDG-related clubs from schools across Hong Kong.- Focus on Collaboration, idea sharing, and partnership development among passionate students.
Club Support
- We are the governing body for SDG Clubs at our schools and provide tools, information, and guidance for club success
- We also provide tailored support that addresses unique challenges and opportunities for each club.
Leadership Workshop
- Promotion of Leadership: Inspires clubs for the new school year.
- Learning from NGOs: Collaborate and gain insights from local experiences.

Host insightful workshops at the summit
Workshops are centered around two main sub-themes: Interactivity and Skills-Building. These sessions are designed to equip change makers with the tools and knowledge necessary to bridge the gap that will sustain their initiatives and passion for social change, and learn how to become better leaders from trailblazers in the Industry.

Be an Impact Fair Booth Host
Host a booth at the summit! This is a key opportunity for clubs, charities, and NGOs to raise awareness about their organization’s mission and vision, educate the community to support their causes, form partnerships, build new chapters in other schools, and offer direct service opportunities.

Be a Guest Speaker to host a workshop for students
We are seeking passionate guest speakers to support our clubs and students and educate our community. If you have expertise in sustainable development or related industries or would like to help develop soft skills in our changemakers, we invite you to share your knowledge and inspire others. Together, we can amplify our impact and create a better future! Get involved!

HK GGC Council Expansion
The HK GGC is looking to expand to other schools so we can reach and create a larger network that empowers students to take action, drive positive change in their communities, and contribute towards achieving the SDGs locally and globally. We would love to learn from experienced professionals who can help with strategic planning, growing/expanding organizations, reaching out to school connections and general development of student leaders. To enhance our impact and expand our network in achieving sustainable development goals, we aim to collaborate with NGOs, charities, and businesses by fostering meaningful connections and partnerships.
