Agnes C

President

Hi guys! I'm Agnes from grade 10 and I am the president of the GGC Council. I enjoy serving the community in supporting the underprivileged. I also have experience working with teenagers to design their lives. I am particularly interested in SDG #17 Partnerships for the goals. In the upcoming year, I hope to plan successful events like the HK SDG Summit, Clubs-a-like and more. I believe together with all the GGC clubs, we can work towards a better community at CDNIS.

TAKING ACTION

Empowering Responsible Global Citizens

Our initiatives focus on minimising environmental impact and fostering a culture of informed, responsible global citizenship.

We provide unique leaderships and experiential learning opportunities that engage students in sustainability issues, integrating the UN Sustainable Development Goals into our programmes. These initiatives cultivate a deep understanding of the social and environmental challenges our world faces and inspire a life of meaningful action.

Our vision "to inspire excellence, cultivate character, and empower engagement locally and globally" guides our commitment to nurturing a culture of environmental awareness and social responsibility for a sustainable future. Please explore our website or get in touch to learn more.

GGC Council Vision and Mission/Goals

The CDNIS GGC Council mission is to guide students in their efforts to promote awareness, education, leadership and to take real action on local and global issues.

The GGCs are student-led groups committed to social and environmental change through participation in a range of on-going service and community engagements. While these clubs each have individual identities, goals and activities, they all share a common mission to achieve sustainable development through student education, empowerment and action.

Continue to increase the support offered to all GGCs to ensure they each meet their stated aims and objectives. This will be enacted through building stronger relationships, better leadership, accountability, transparency and community engagement.

Our Goals:

1. Continue to increase the support offered to all GGCs to ensure they each meet their stated aims and objectives. This will be enacted through building stronger relationships, better leadership, accountability, transparency and community engagement.

2. Promote, communicate, and market opportunities for Education for Sustainable Development.

3. The GGC Council will continue to develop strong ‘partnerships for sustainable change’ within the school, local and global communities, to help achieve these goals.
