Statement on Education for Sustainable Development at ISF
At the ISF academy, we believe that sustainable development is imperative for the next generation and learning about it from an early age is essential to ensure a sustainable future.

Empowering Responsible Global Citizens
ISF has been leading various initiatives to achieve sustainability within the school grounds, from installing solar panels to implementing a composting system. Our focus extends to enhancing recycling efforts and promoting a green environment through educational programs and community engagement.
GGC Council Vision and Mission/Goals
Our vision for the ISF GGC council chapter is to increase awareness and knowledge for sustainability and the SDG goals throughout the school campus. We aim to not only raise awareness of the problems regarding sustainability but also educate people on how they can make a change for the better through their actions.

Co-President of the ISF Chapter
Sara
I am Sara, the co-president of the ISF GGC Chapter. I have been introduced to the Global Goals Council and want to use this as an opportunity to build interschool relationships and form partnerships as a way for students to better engage with the broader community and support their causes. I am focusing on SDG 11 in many other projects, which aim to build sustainable cities and communities.

Hello! I’m Valarie, and I am the co-president of the ISF GGC Chapter. I enjoy discovering and exploring our fascinating world and thinking of new and innovative ways to tackle the big world problems. Therefore, I am especially interested in SDGs #7 and #13, which are affordable and clean energy and climate action. In the upcoming year, I hope to help with the planning of successful events such as the HK SDG Summit and also to communicate and connect with people outside of school who are just as interested in sustainability as we are. I believe, together with all the other GGC chapters, we can build a better community together.
Marketing Representative

I’m Gloria and I am the marketing representative of the ISF GGC Chapter. I am in charge of promoting and marketing ISF GGC, focusing on raising awareness of ISF GGC initiatives. I strive to create opportunities for individuals to connect, learn, and contribute to our mission. I’m particularly interested in SDG#13 Climate Change, because it directly impacts our environment, health, and, livelihood and requires urgent action to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. I believe, that being part of ISF GGC, allows me to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about driving positive change, collaborating on impactful initiatives, and amplifying our collective voice in advocating for sustainability.

I’m William an I am the team recruiter of the ISF GGC Chapter. I am in charge of bringing in new members to the team, bringing in guest speakers and fellow students that will lead workshop activities. My main goal is to gather people that are passionate about sustainability to help contribute towards making a change for the better. Through my effort I wish to make contributions to SDG goals 13, 11, and 7, and I believe that being part of the ISF GGC wil allow me to meet people that shares a common goal.
